Continuing Education Short Courses
During the year the staff of the Faculty of Dentistry contribute to, or take part in, a range of continuing education courses of one to two days duration in Dunedin and throughout New Zealand during the year. Information about these courses is sent to all dental practitioners on the Register of the Dental Council of New Zealand.

General Dental Practice Clinical Update Course
This course is provided by staff and postgraduate
students of the University of Otago
School of Dentistry. It is designed for dentists
returning to practice and for those preparing
for the New Zealand Dental Council clinical
The course aims to provide a broad-based
review of clinical aspects of general dentistry
at an undergraduate level through seminars,
demonstrations, and hands-on practical
experience using simulation. It is limited to 20 participants.
